| The new Level IV Composite plate is a triple-curve style plate with shooted cut. It weighs in at 7.2 lbs. The plate consists of AL2O3 ceramic with an aramid backing and is covered with 1mm tactical non-glare plastic to provide protection from environmental conditions. This plate is certified as "stand alone" under the NIJ 0101.04 standard. |
